A jury has unanimously found Derek Chauvin guilty of the second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter of George Floyd.

Video footage of the former police officer kneeling on George Floyd's neck for 8 minutes 46 seconds sparked global protests under the Black Lives Matter movement.

The historic verdict was reached after the jury deliberated for almost 11 hours after a three-week trial. Chauvin chose not to testify in court.
