Ramadan: Mohamed Bajrafil, former Imam in Paris, sees future for Islam in France

FRANCE24, 27 Apr 2021
Mohamed Bajrafil is a well-known figure in the Paris region's Muslim community. In November, he resigned his role as an Imam, partly in response to the French Council of the Muslim Faith, which controls the training of Imans in France.

Bajrafil is convinced that Islam, France and the Republic are not only compatible, but that their destiny is irrevocably linked. While no longer an Imam, he's vowed to continue fighting for his beliefs.
