Hong Kong police cordon off the city's main Victoria Park, ordering those playing sports to leave, as China's Communist Party celebrated its centenary which coincides with the 24th anniversary of Hong Kong's 1997 handover to China by colonial Britain. The force said they had seen online calls for people to attend "banned rallies", so they were closing the grounds.
