CA, 02 Jul 2021
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to hold a media availability on Friday.
The availability also comes after the village of Lytton, B.C. was devastated by a wildfire that, according to the community's local MP, left 90 per cent of the village destroyed.
According to Trudeau's public itinerary, the prime minister will convene a meeting later Friday of the Incident Response Group to discuss the wildfires and extreme weather impacts that have hit British Columbia, which has also seen record-breaking temperatures during an intense heat wave that has hit western Canada.
