Canada's chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam provided an update on the country's COVID-19 vaccination rollout and case numbers on Thursday.
COVID-19 daily case count trends have been slowing down for the past 14 days, as well as death counts due to COVID-19, with provinces in different stages of reopening.
Experts are saying that the fourth wave of COVID-19 doesn't have to be the country's reality as it is in the U.K. if people continue to get vaccinated as quickly as possible.
