Guardian, 09 Jul 2021
Hundreds gathered to protest outside police headquarters after the arrest of 17 men believed to be involved in the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse on Wednesday. Protestors demanded information about the suspects and set fire to vehicles they thought belonged to the group. Police now believe a heavily armed commando unit composed of 26 Colombians and two Haitian Americans assassinated Moïse, as the search for the rest of the group continues.
