Spanish government pardons nine Catalan separatist leaders

Spain's Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, has pardoned nine jailed Catalan separatist leaders.
They were convicted of sedition in 2019 for their role in the region's failed 2017 independence bid.
It's a deeply controversial move and opposition parties say they'll challenge it in court.
