Three police officers were injured and 14 protesters were arrested after an anti-lockdown protest in London turned violent. Footage showed demonstrators, most not wearing masks, scuffling with police near Parliament Square opposite the Houses of Parliament. The protest came on the day when COVID-19 restrictions were planned to be further eased in England. The government, however, has delayed the date by up to four weeks amid concerns over the Delta variant.
