2020/08/27 Back to School: Challenges, Troubles Ahead

CGTN, 28 Aug 2020
Starting this Saturday, August 29, schools in Beijing will gradually begin their autumn semester. Senior high schools will reopen first, while primary and junior high schools will start their new school year separately on August 29, September 1 and September 7 respectively. And colleges in the Chinese capital will decide on their own schedule for students to check in or register. The new semester begins after China has basically contained the coronavirus spread. Classes were mostly online across the country in the first half of this year due to the pandemic. Meanwhile, for other countries like the U.S., it's a different story as many classes will still resume online. How will it affect international students going to the U.S. and Europe? Any advice for Chinese students stranded abroad on how to do well despite the dire circumstances?
