South Korea's director of operation for the army's joint chiefs of staff, Jeon Dong-Jin, said Wednesday that the country had deep concerns over announcements by the North's military general, which said that the country would ratify military plans which "bluntly" go against past inter-Korean agreements.

He said should the plans be put into action, the North would "surely pay."

The country's vice minister of its Unification Ministry, Suh Ho, said the announcement was also a "clear violation" of South Korean people's property rights.​
