U.S. top infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci said the government will fund and conduct studies on three experimental coronavirus vaccines. Last-stage trials are expected to begin in July, August and September respectively. They will involve tens of thousands of people to assess the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines. Currently, about 10 coronavirus vaccine candidates have reached trials in humans.
