CA, 16 Aug 2020
Dozens of protesters gathered outside the home of U.S. postmaster general Louis DeJoy on Saturday in Washington, D.C., amid reports the U.S. Postal Service warned at least 46 states and D.C. of significant delays that could impact the 2020 election.
According to reports, the service says it cannot guarantee all ballots will be mailed in will arrive on time to be counted. DeJoy is also facing an investigation by the service's internal watchdog into cost cutting that has slowed delivery and alarmed lawmakers.
People banged pots and pans and scribbled "put DeJoy in DeJail" on the street outside his home.
