Ili is an autonomous prefecture for Kazakh people in Xinjiang, one of the five autonomous prefectures in the province. It is famous for its rich natural landscape, like the Ili River.
The Ili River drains the basin between Mt. Tianshan and the Borohoro Mountains. Flowing into Balkhash Lake, the river forms a large delta with vast wetlands of lakes, marshes and vegetation. #AmazingXinjiang
