Protests have erupted in Wisconsin after police shot Jacob Blake, a black man, many times while responding to what they said was a domestic incident.

Mr Blake was taken to hospital for surgery and is now in intensive care.

Authorities in the Keshona declared an emergency overnight curfew and used teargas in an attempt to quell the unrest.
