Former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, the president's son Donald Trump Jr., South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott and many others are expected to speak during the first day of the Republican National Convention on Monday, which unlike the Democrats' convention, is holding some of its events in person but in a more scaled-back affair.

The speakers Monday also include Congressman Jim Jordan, Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, and Mark and Patricia McCloskey, a Missouri couple who made headlines when photos showed them outside their home each with a firearm as a Black Lives Matter protest took place. The McCloskeys are expected, according to reports, to say they had a "God-given right" to defend themselves and their property.

While President Donald Trump is expected to formally accept the nomination on Thursday with a speech from the White House, he is reportedly also going to make appearances each night of the convention, though it's not confirmed whether this will be through live remarks, speeches or prerecorded video segments.
