Ukraine dispatch: Inside the frontline secret base on the southern offensive

Under the beating sun and drenched in sweat, a Ukrainian soldier holds his position on Mykolaiv’s front line for 24 hours a day.
Dressed in a camouflage ghillie suit and armed with an AK47, the soldier, known as ‘Barman’, plays a vital part in Ukraine’s southern offensive.
In the cripplingly exhausting conditions Barman and his fellow soldiers from 63rd Brigade in Liubomyrivka, north east of Mykolaiv, have been conducting operations to push Russia back, as they prepare for the counter-offensive as Ukraine moves in on Kherson.
